The Israeli air strikes which began on Wednesday on the Gaza Strip and the rockets fired from the strip up into Israel have been paralyzing the two civilizations with fear. Sky-high violence that is billing every day is extremely concerning and has shown no signs of letting up.
Though the striking came weeks prior to the assault, the conflict between the two regions began to take a surge earlier this week when the Israeli police and armed forces stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque situated in Jerusalem. This was an escalating response of weeks of continuous tensions, which were seen in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The attacks made on the mosque were widely criticized by human rights organizations, as well as world leaders.
The then Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured that the response to the attacks would be severe. In response to the Israeli air strikes, Hamas announced that they would launch rockets from Gaza which will reach as far as Tel Aviv. Until now, the Hamas rockets have reached the southern and central parts of Israel.
Till now, the two civilizations have reported deaths of at least 27 people in Gaza, and five people in Israel, with many more injured in both regions. To make matters worse, there is an eminent fear that the situation can get even worse.
