A 30-year-old American teacher eager for an adventure decided to make the move to Copenhagen and is now enjoying the benefits of a luxurious apartment at a relatively low cost. At a monthly expenditure of 2100 DKK (approximately $345), the teacher is renting a high end apartment with plenty of amenities.
The apartment, which is situated close to the city center, has three bedrooms, a living room and dining area, and two bathrooms. In addition, the teacher has access to a balcony with a view of the city. As if the view wasn‘t enough, the teacher also enjoys regular visits from a concierge offering cleaning and laundry services, as well as the convenience of having the grocery store and a library just a few floors down.
The teacher reports that while the cost of living in Denmark is higher than in the U.S., the difference is offset by the quality of life and the activities available. From biking to exploring the city and taking part in cultural activities, there is plenty to do for people who live in Denmark.
In addition, the teacher has also reported that the people living in Denmark are happy and welcoming. The teacher has managed to make friends and fit in with the locals, and is now experiencing the best of what this beautiful country has to offer.
